About the role
We are looking for a talented and experienced Marketing Manager to join our clients team in Munich, Germany.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing their marketing strategy, which will include a wide range of activities and tasks, from planning to execution, focused on content marketing related strategies. You will also be responsible for working closely with the CEO and assisting in growing the business.

You will have the opportunity to join a small, growing SaaS business, currently 12 people, in a highly rewarding role. Our client belongs to a larger group of companies, who total more than 50 people and are lead by the same CEO.

The company offers a cloud-based service management system that helps businesses simplify and improve service management and the customer service experience as a whole.

Salary on offer is dependant on experience up to €65,000 base.

This is a hybrid position with at least 3-4 days required in the office each week.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the marketing strategy

  • Work closely with the CEO to grow the business

  • Drive inbound lead growth

  • Develop creative campaign approaches

  • Contribute to the creation of marketing materials, product presentations, and competitive analysis

  • Develop targeted marketing efforts to attract existing and new customers

  • Creatively write articles, copy, and cover letters, as well as research digital trends

  • Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (agencies, CRM team, product development, IT, etc.)

  • Expand their social media activities: e.g. posting articles, creating content (e.g. short videos or texts)

  • Organize and support trade show appearances and other events such as webinars, virtual and in-person

Qualifications

  • A successfully completed degree (business administration, marketing, e-commerce) or commercial training in marketing communications

  • Initial professional experience in marketing, e.g. in an agency

  • A keen interest in topics and developments in the IT industry

  • Familiarity with various forms of marketing

  • Enjoyment of creative work and a keen sense of design

  • A willingness to take responsibility for tasks and work both independently and in a team

  • Quick on the uptake and a strong technical understanding

  • Familiarity with CMS like WordPress or Webflow

  • Experience in creating content for social media channels

  • Strong communication skills, creativity, and a high level of customer orientation

  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken

  • Advantageous, but not a must: knowledge of Adobe products (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator)
