Principal Electrical Engineer

International medical device company is currently looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join their hardware development team in Northern Bavaria to support new product development for their respiratory diagnostics products.


Tasks:
  • To establish and conduct product testing (EMC, safety etc).
  • Creation of analogue and digital measurement device circuits.
  • Report to Team Lead R&D of Hardware Engineering.
  • Designing PCB specs and creating circuit diagrams.
  • Prototype creation, commissioning, and evaluation.
  • Create design criteria, assessments, and suggestions for presentation and approval.
  • Perform technical tasks and projects including the analysis, implementation, testing, and assessment of electronic and electromechanical devices, equipment, and components.
  • An explanation of requirements, test procedures, and assembly instructions.

What Is required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or any scientific qualification with few years of working experience
  • Written and oral fluency in English and German.
  • Experience in design, development, implementation and testing of electrical circuits (preferably of medical devices).
  • Experience in problem solving with analytical and structured approach.
  • Knowledge of eCAD system, Simulation tool, and ERP system.
  • Understanding of the standards like IEC60601-1, and 60601-1-2 is desired.
  •  Experience in medical device regulations (MDR, FDA) and implementation of embedded software is beneficial.
