Strategic Sourcing Specialist (f/m/x)

Location: Würzburg, Germany (Hybrid)
Salary: €50,000 - €65,000 (Dependant on experience)

Working in a team to implement global sourcing strategies will be your responsibility as a strategic sourcing specialist. You will take part in the respiratory category's global sourcing efforts in this job. For this company, you will be involved in the procurement of machined metal components, electronic components, printed circuit boards, displays, and other components.
You will also maintain current supplier relationships, carry out routine supplier reviews, and make sure that current supplier partnerships continue to grow as part of your job.

Tasks: 
•    Conduct RFQs, monitor quote deadlines, prepare meaningful analyses, develop negotiation strategies
•    Negotiate pricing, terms and other commercial conditions or issues with Suppliers
•    Participation in supplier evaluation and selection process, monitor supplier performance and prepare regular supplier business reviews 
•    Establishing and maintaining supplier relationships to reduce costs and avoid inefficiencies
•    Perform data analyses, preparation and evaluation of key figure reports 
•    Support the Strategic Sourcing Team in market monitoring, identify trends and potential risks, contribute in reducing supply and cost risk
•    Independent negotiation of supplier contracts, quantity and framework agreements
•    Identify Cost Saving Opportunities
•    Participation in optimization and strategic alignment of the supply chain
•    Support in the development of long-term strategic sourcing concepts and their subsequent implementation
•    Collaboration in various internal projects and processes

Your Profile:
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Engineering or related field, alternatively, completed commercial or technical training with appropriate advanced qualification with at least 2 years of professional experience in strategic or operational purchasing
•    Relevant professional experience in Medical Device Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Aviation, or a similarly regulated industry
•    Experience in supplier performance management, contract negotiations and cost management experience
•    Proven analysis, negotiation and supplier management skills
•    Fluent English & German
