We are supporting the growth of our client as they search for a Software Architect & Configuration Manager join their team! 

Focus of the role:

  • Participate in the architectural design of intricate software systems to guarantee that the requirements for maintainability, scalability, and modularity are met.
  • Work together with stakeholders to handle changes consistently and openly, comprehend business requirements, translate them into technical designs, and establish a smooth workflow from development to production.
  • Spot areas where the system could be improved, then come up with creative fixes.
  • Oversee the maintenance and implementation of CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and guarantee quicker, more dependable releases.
  • The infrastructure (tools, licences, and apps) will be optimally monitored to proactively detect performance bottlenecks and address problems before they affect users.
  • As an advocate for DevOps best practices, you will push for improvements in system dependability and deployment efficiency using orchestration, containerization, and configuration management.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation (such as Software Configuration Management Plan).

Experience required:
  • A degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
  • Sound knowledge of cloud computing platforms e.g. Azure, AWS.
  • Strong object-orientated programming experience.
  • Experience with the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and tools e.g. GitLab, Jenkins, CircleCI.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry e.g. automotive, medical devices.
  • Fluency in English is required, German skills are an advantage.
